Frequently Asked Questions
-
Q: What happens during a Discovery Call?
A: A Discovery Call is a free 30-minute video call where you can share what you're going through and we can see if working together feels like the right fit. There's no pressure, no obligation, and no agenda other than making sure you feel heard. Most people leave feeling clearer than when they arrived.
Q: How long is the Discovery Call?
A: 30 minutes — completely free and no commitment required.
Q: Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?
A: No preparation needed. Just show up as you are. If you want to jot down your main symptoms or questions beforehand that's welcome, but it's absolutely not required.
Q: What if I'm not ready to commit to sessions yet?
A: That's completely okay. The Discovery Call exists for exactly that reason — to give you a chance to ask questions and get a feel for things before making any decisions. There is zero pressure to book anything afterward.

Q: How does a mentoring session work?
A: All sessions take place via video call so you can join from anywhere in the United States. We meet one on one, talk through what you're experiencing, and work together on education, clarity, and next steps that make sense specifically for you.
Q: How long are sessions?
A: The Initial Mentoring Session is 90 minutes. Follow-up sessions are 45 minutes. Discovery Calls are 30 minutes and always free.
Q: What platform do you use for video calls?
A: Sessions take place via Zoom. You will receive a link when you book — no downloads or accounts required on your end.
Q: Can I book from anywhere in the United States?
A: Yes! All sessions are conducted via video call which means I work with clients across the entire United States regardless of where you are located.

Q: What are your qualifications?
A: I hold an accredited Menopause Wellbeing Practitioner certification, allowing me to practice as your Certified Menopause Mentor. I am also navigating perimenopause myself, which gives me both professional knowledge and genuine personal experience of this journey.
Q: Are you a doctor or medical provider?
A: No. I am a mentor and educator, not a medical provider. I provide education, guidance, and personal support. I do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat medical conditions. For medical care I work alongside a trusted network of healthcare professionals and can help connect you with the right people when needed.
Q: Do you work with transgender and non-binary clients?
A: Absolutely. I support anyone assigned female at birth who is navigating perimenopause or menopause regardless of how they identify. Everyone deserves to feel supported through this transition.

Q: What can menopause mentoring actually help with?
A: Menopause mentoring can help you understand what's happening in your body, make sense of your symptoms, explore your options, build lifestyle strategies that support your transition, and feel less alone in the process. Many clients come in feeling overwhelmed and leave feeling clear, empowered, and ready to take their next step.
Q: How is a mentor different from a doctor?
A: A doctor diagnoses and treats. A mentor educates, supports, and walks alongside you. Think of me as the person who helps you understand what's happening, prepare for medical appointments, and navigate everything in between. I work alongside your medical team, not instead of them.
Q: How many sessions will I need?
A: That depends entirely on where you are in your journey and what kind of support feels right for you. Some clients find that one or two sessions give them the clarity they need. Others prefer ongoing monthly support. We figure that out together.
Q: I'm not sure if what I'm experiencing is perimenopause. Can you still help?
A: Absolutely. Many people come to me unsure of where they are in their journey. Part of what we do together is make sense of your symptoms and figure out what's actually going on. Start with a free Discovery Call — that's exactly what it's for.
